I propose this project as a search for images and feelings revolving around sleep as a dividing element, which also give a look to the act of sleeping as an indicating experience of fears, desires, self delusions, phobias and everything having to do with the information sent straight to the subconscious; circular and foul thoughts as recurring elements just like that famous quote by Jenny Holzer ‘Protect me from what I want’; paradoxes and nonnegotiable dreams.
Poetic text for the work:
I am neither aware of the beginning nor of the end. I find myself in a total present, in a mutation loop which makes me feel a sense of continuity. The space undergoes a no rational transformation and drowned in such an unstable and everlasting frame of mind, as fertile as unproductive, I inhale.
I place myself dazzled by pleasure and condemned to memory, to no documentation. I believe I find myself in a nonparallel reality but perpendicular. The intersection point is close but I would rather look anywhere else.
Now I am desire’s co-driver and I molest it.
Exhale.
A quick, ineffective greeting and I have changed my way.
Starting point.
